Data Deletion Request
Effective: 27 August 2026
1. Requesting Deletion
You may request deletion of personal information associated with an enquiry or business relationship by emailing webinquiry@dcldi.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. Please identify the email address and relevant interaction so the record can be located.
2. Verification
To protect individuals and prevent fraudulent deletion, DCLDi may request reasonable verification before acting on a request.
3. What We Will Delete
Where the request is valid and no lawful exception applies, DCLDi will delete or irreversibly de-identify personal information under its control that is no longer necessary for a legitimate or legally required purpose.
4. Information We May Need to Retain
DCLDi may retain information where reasonably necessary for legal obligations, tax/accounting records, payment records, fraud prevention, security, exercise or defence of legal claims, contractual administration, backup integrity or another lawful basis. A deletion request does not require DCLDi to erase records that applicable law permits or requires it to retain.
5. Third Parties
Where information has been processed by third-party services, DCLDi will take reasonable steps within its control and legal obligations. Some third-party systems may have independent retention rules or legal obligations.
6. Timing
Requests will be handled within the period required by applicable law. Complex requests, verification issues or archived backup systems may require additional lawful processing time.
7. Confirmation
Where appropriate, DCLDi will confirm completion or explain why some information could not lawfully be deleted.
